Community Choir

Bardfield Community Choir
The Community Choir has been running since June 2010 and has over forty members. We sing for our own enjoyment. You don’t need to be able to read music and no previous singing experience is necessary. Most of our music is arranged for 3 or 4 parts, sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. So far we have sung a wide range of music including pop, folk, jazz and classical. In the summer we gave our first performance which included Rhythm of Life, Stormy Weather and the Gloria from Vivaldi’s Gloria – quite an achievement after only a few rehearsals. At Christmas the choir sang carols and Christmas songs at the Town Hall Raffle evening, finishing with a stirring performance of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.
