I have lived in the village since 1982. I am married to Ian, with 2 children who have both attended the local village school. Ian and I run our own water softening business from the village. I was Treasurer for the Pre-School, and then part of the small team, with councillor Steve Slemmings, who raised money for the new Pre-School and After School Club building. Following this I was a dinner lady at the local primary school, where I was also a member of the PTA before handing that position over to Ian, and taking up a position on the Board of School Governors. |
