The Museum is housed in a 16th Century cottage, and contains items of local interest, including agricultural tools, examples of Corn Dolly work and straw plaiting, and many items in local domestic use in the 19th and early 20th Century. The Museum is open on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday afternoons from 2.00 – 5.30 pm between Easter and the last Sunday in September. Entrance is free, but donations will be welcomed. The Museum is staffed by volunteers from the Society. Come and see Fred, sitting outside the cottage in his smock! |
