It boasts many significant listed buildings, a museum and, in addition to a successful primary school, has a variety of shops, two pubs, a thriving business centre, and three places of worship. It benefits from the High Barn music venue and numerous community groups and activities for all ages. The Bardfield Artists are a significant part of its history and more details can be found on the History page.
