I have lived in Great Bardfield for the best part of 25 years, and my three children Tom, Matthew and Laura all benefited from attending both the pre-school and the primary school before moving onto Newport Grammar School now The Joyce Franklin Academy. I am a founder member of Bardfield Brass, a long time active member of The Bardfield Players, and recently a member of the Bardfield Community Choir. Also, from time to time, I am called upon to perform duties as the Town Cryer, all of these things I hugely enjoy. I believe that although the village is made up of around six hundred dwellings, what makes the village is the people who live there, creating a wonderful community which is the envy of many visitors and deserves to be protected as an outstanding place to live. I have particular interest in the planning process, and keeping the environment we live in, combining a vibrant active village and a beautiful rural landscape.
