‘Look up your local Scout Group, because you’ve got a safe, practical community who will encourage and support you.’ Bear Grylls, Chief Scout.
1st Finchingfield Scout Group is absolutely reliant on the help and support of numerous adults who help out in various ways to make sure the Group runs smoothly. Leaders that run the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are given training and advice to make sure they provide the best possible Scouting for the young people in their section. Other adult helpers aid the Leaders giving assistance where needed in running games and supervising activities. We encourage all parents to become involved in the Group by helping at meetings, at camp and other activities. We are also keen to hear from anyone who is interested in becoming a leader or a helper.
