Upcoming films
5th June 2026 - The Ballad of Wallis Island
This is a warm, witty and quietly moving story set against the windswept beauty of a remote island, blending humour, music and unexpected human connection. Starring Carey Mulligan, Tom Basden and Tim Key, the film combines gentle comedy with heartfelt drama to celebrate friendship, second chances and the enduring power of music and shared stories.
10 July 2026 - My House In Umbria
Our last film for this season is the beautifully atmospheric My House In Umbria, a compelling mystery-drama set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Italian countryside. Starring Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall and Ronnie Barker, the film follows an unlikely group of survivors brought together after a devastating train bombing. Seeking refuge in a secluded villa in Umbria, they gradually uncover one another’s stories in a moving exploration of grief, healing, and human connection. Rich in emotion, wit, and suspense, the film combines elegant storytelling with stunning scenery and a hauntingly memorable atmosphere.
(We do our best to show the films advertised but in very exceptional circumstances there may be a change to the schedule.)
